7Artisans 18mm f/6.3 II: first impressions

It’s tiny. Like really tiny. I thought my Sony E 20mm f/2.8was small, but it’s nothing compared to the 7Artisans 18mm f/6.3 II I just unboxed. But with a fixed f/6.3 aperture and no autofocus, it’s no wonder. Surprisingly, it doesn’t feel like a cheap lens, even though it costs just €68. There’s no cap, something I hear the kids really appreciate these days.

This should be fun to shoot with.

Really thin
This is what it looks like on my camera
My desk. 1/30s, ISO1000. I used a preset that mimics Kodak Gold 200
The view out my window. 1/200s, ISO100. The same preset.
