The latest Lightroom update has added new presets for those who want an analog feel to their photos. We still have the Vintage collection of presets, which isn’t at all confusing. Yet here we are…
Anyway, I wanted to see how exactly each film-inspired preset looks on a random photo taken with my iPhone 17 Pro (ProRAW), using the Moment Pro Camera II app.
The results remind me of Instagram’s first few years, when photos were defined by the filters themselves. That’s why I believe Adobe wasn’t going for subtlety when making these. The results mean you like the new presets or you don’t. So far, I’m quite happy with the first two, Warm Gold and Rich Gold.
